Erin Knipp on Rosehip Flora:
“Working part time at a wonderful flower shop outside of D.C., I earned much more of an education than
my graduate school experiences were providing alone. While learning more about flowers than I ever imagined necessary,
I discovered a true love for everything floral.”
“After graduating and moving back to Austin, I tried to pursue a more ‘normal’ career
path, but I kept finding myself looking for opportunities to play with flowers. I longed for a sharp knife and
juicy stems to cut and arrange.”
“Over the years, I provided flowers for friends’ weddings and found
it enormously satisfying. In May 2004, Rosehip Flora officially came into
being. I currently work out of my home studio on Austin’s east side
and am the proud proprietress of Rosehip Flora."
